About me

My Name is Sean Michael Manzella. Growing up in Connecticut I found myself captivated with capturing everything around me on video. From using an original Flip Camera on family trips to going through old home film videos, I was obsessed.

As I grew older I found myself lucky enough to have access to work live studio shows, live multi-cam broadcasts, and other creative video projects at the age of 13 through New Canaan High School’s NCTV 78 program.

This motivated me to pursue broadcasting at the highest degree and study at the prestigious S.I Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University. At Syracuse I honed my skills through various roles with ESPN, the ACC Network, Citrus TV and other programs, but I found my expertise most suited to in the field feature production.

During my Time at Syracuse I was able to be a full-time Student Associate at MSG Networks while continuing my studies as a part of the Newhouse NYC Program. I was able to be hands on with a number of projects most importantly, as a Producer on the Emmy Winning Sports Documentary “Dyckman: The Comeback.”

After graduating with a major in Broadcast and Digital Journalism and minors in Strategic Management and Astrophysics, I started full-time with MSG Networks’ Branded Content Department as an Associate Producer.

At MSG Networks, I have become a critical part in almost all in the field feature productions; assisting on Knicks, Rangers, Devils and Islanders media days, working with major celebrities and professional athletes, and pushing my story telling skills to the limit.
